India is amazing country which is famous for unity in diversity, it has plenty of historical monuments, diverse range of natural beauties and people with great mind. Children in India grow by listing to the stories such as fairy tales, fables, folk tale, myths and ghost stories. Children like me will no doubt love ghost stories but they are unaware that like that stories places related with the ghost also exist and visiting to that places would be a courageous thing to do so what are you waiting for lets explore the places which many are scared of visiting.
Its a historical monument(a large hunting lodge) in the city of Delhi which was built in tughlaq era in 14th century which is also famous as Wilayat Mahal. This was once home of grand daughter of Nawab of Oudh. This lady used to live here with her two children. This family was forced to live in a place far away from any city life and all alone in the entire area. They also had restriction for social interaction, they were allowed to speak to people only twice in the entire life. The ghost story begin when this lady committed suicide by taking crushed diamond in her meal. The body was still in the house for next 10 days secretly and her children used to sleep and eat next to her. And this was the reason for the story being horror.
Malcha Mahal: Delhi
Savoy Hotel: Uttrakhand
A Gothic style Savoy hotel in Mussoorie was built in 1902 and it was the most luxurious hotel of that period. Most of famous persons such as politicians, writers and artiest used to spend time there. The story of ghost begins when Madam Frances Garnett Orme comes here.That was the summer season in 1911. She was a British spiritualist who can interact with the spirits. This lady was living with her friend, when her friend left for Lucknow. Miss Frances was found dead in her room and the door was locked from inside. This story becomes a mystery when the doctor who did postmortem of her found dead by poisoning. The murder mystery was never resolved and people believe that the spirit of Miss Frances still haunts the hotel. Many cases where found to prove the same.
Kuldhara: Rajasthan
We all are aware that Rajasthan was once the place of many kings and forts which has a royal history and culture. But have you ever imagined that this State would have such ghost stories no right? But its a true story. This village is know as ghost village of Rajasthan. The story of this place was started in 1800. According to a folklore the villagers used to pay taxes to the minister of the state. Once the minister visits the village and his heart fell on a girl and wishes to marry her. He threatens the villagers if they would not accept the proposal he will increase the taxes. Instead to agreeing to the minister the villagers decided to leave the village and overnight 84 villagers vanished in the dark and this is still a mystery which cannot be resolved.
Tunnel 33: Shimla
Shimla is known as Switzerland of India and the most popular tourist destination in India. When thinking about Shimla the nature beauty, amazing weather and chilled holidays comes in our mind. The ghost story is about a tunnel 33 which was named after Colonel Barog in 1898 who also believed this tunnel to be haunted. Colonel Barog was a engineer who was handling the project of building the tunnel. he calculated the number of work was to be done and number of labors to be required to build the same. Although he was unable to do proper calculation and was unable to build the tunnel in given time. when he was dead his body buried outside the tunnel and people believe that his spirit still haunt the tunnel. He spoke to people but does not harm anyone isn't interesting.
Victoria Hospital:Bangalore
This is one of the oldest hospital in Bangalore located near city market. People have witnessed so many strange incidents which makes this places most haunted place in Bangalore. The locals have claimed to see a white figured on the tree in the hospital compound. This ghost does not want to scare people but its more fun type. People have found missing food from their pockets suddenly. This seems the ghost is very foodie you should take care of you meals more. So plan your trip to this hospital and have fun with the ghost.
Raj Kiran Hotel: Lonavla
This hotel is situated in Lonavla Mumbai is not a bog hotel but paranormal activities has been seen continuously at this hotel and is also confirmed by the experts. There is a particular room where most of those activities have been seen such as the bed-sheet have been pulled out during the night, someone noticed blue light on their feet. The people who were stayed in the hotel have gone through mental therapies. All the creepy activities occurs in that hotel during the dark only. Some one have experienced the real ghost of Raj hotel. The creepy room is on the ground floor if you are staying there it is going to be very haunted else nothing is scary there.
