Everyone should plan a trip completely alone at least once in their lifetime. Travelling will give you a whole new experience about various tradition, culture, people but when you travel alone other than all that you can learn more about yourself. When you are travelling alone it is very necessary to plan your trip before and prepare your own itinerary in case you are not going through an travel agency .Give a copy of your itinerary to someone at home so that they will be knowing where are you and what are you doing and at what time, so that they will be little relaxed about you , in case of any emergency they can easily reach to you.

Choose the place for staying very carefully. It is very important ti know about the place where you are planning to stay specially when you are alone. Before taking a rental room or booking a hotel you should know about it should also read reviews and than only decide to stay in a  particular hotel.

Pack your bag with all the necessary things which you can need in your trip and make sure the bag is not too heavy that you can face problem in carrying it. Pack your back light because there will not be any helping hand for you and light bag will also allow you to move more comfortably.

Carry things of entertainment with you because most of the time you will be dining alone. Taking transportation alone and touring new places alone so make sure you have such things which can give you entertainment such as you can carry some good books, favorite music downloaded in your phone.

Do not involve yourself more in using mobile phone or other gadgets. There will be no use if you will keep yourself busy in the gadgets. In the process of travelling alone you can learn so many thing about your surrounding and about yourself so for sometime keep all gadgets away and give time to yourself, interact with yourself and enjoy the beauty of nature which will be a totally unique experience for you.

Be aware of your surroundings. Single travelers  are more easy to target so open your ears, mind all the time and travel smart. Keep all your money cards at safer place and always be aware of your surroundings especially in nights.
